Description
Used to facilitate gripping, support or manipulation of the tongue during a surgical procedure. It typically has a self-retaining, scissors-like design with ring handles and the working end having a variety of blade designs, straight, angled, or curved with large loop-like grasping jaws which are serrated to ensure grip; some may have exchangeable, serrated, rubber inserts functioning as jaws.
